Alexis Miller
Bio of a Food journalist

Alexis Miller was born in Los Angeles California, but moved to Chicago, her parents’ hometown, when she was 7 years old. After, a stint in the Midwest Alexis’ family relocated to South Florida where she grew up. At an early age she had a knack for acting, broadcast journalism, and a love for a diversity of food. Her father was in the restaurant business for many years and helped inspire her towards the culinary world. Alexis used to help prepare and host at her father’s café, which initially sparked her early interest in food. Alexis attended college at Tufts University in Boston, where she honed her writing and journalism skills, pursuing a degree in English. She studied abroad in London for a year and acquired an appreciation for the international perspective on food. Alexis spent time working at Court TV, NBC London Headquarters, and CBS Boston Arts and Entertainment Department. While in Boston she produced and hosted her own television show called Dishin’ it with Alexis. She’s written extensively for the Tufts Daily Newspaper in the Arts and Entertainment section. Alexis  spent three years as a news reporter at TV 22 News the NBC affiliate in Springfield, MA. She is a recent graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City and works as a freelance food and travel journalist. 1. Hi Alexis,

I spoke with you fro a bit yesterday, Joe from Caminito Steakhouse in Northampton. I like your blog very much, in addition to being a chef/restaurant owner, I also serve as a contributing writer/developer of primecutsblog.com which is officially run by my business partner in the restaurant and web guy Justin Levy. You should check out our blog, it is more or less just the random musings of a couple foodies, with alot of my tales and experiences of being a professional chef, we just added a few contributing writers, and we put up the occasional how to video as well. Anyhow looking foreward to next wed.
    See you then -Joe
